OUR STORY
As a child, Barbara Maria would travel all the way through the South of North America with her mother multiple times a year. She likes to say “Plantations were my vacations” when speaking on her childhood as a young millennial. Her experiences of going on vacation through various parts of the south, visiting museums, and touring different historical landmarks significant to the plight and strength of Black Americans, has long sparked her interest of the origins of her ancestors who came before her. Black Elephant Empire LLC was created to share with those of like mind cultural empowerment, resiliency, determination, and divinity instilling a sense of pride and admiration of Black American Love and History in which they tried to rip away.

There is much esoteric knowledge in regards to the Black American that is not being shared amongst our community, and Eqstesi Books is here to bridge the gap.

Next, Barbara Maria is a visual abstract artist who loves bringing artists throughout the community together through Underground Art Shows Specially curated by her, herself! Her goal is to give both seasoned and new visual artists a platform to be themselves authentically by way of networking, creativity, and a splendidly good time!

Last, to tie in with her personal self-expression, Bee is a specialized Adornment Designer. She creates jewelry for both women and men with quality gold filled material and crystals by way of Jordan, Isreal. Each of her pieces are exclusive 1of1's and are not to be duplicated, meaning, its
collector can be sure that no one else has statement pieces that are exclusively called for them! She also does Adornment customizations to add to the authenticity and exclusivity of the individual's self-expression.
